About Beccles Air Cadets
Beccles is a small town in the East Anglia on the border between Norfolk and Suffolk. We are a successful unit of around 30 cadets, providing activities such as flying, gliding, wild country expeditions, climbing, sports, canoeing, visits to places of interest, and also fun visits like Alton Towers. We parade Friday evenings from 7pm – 10:30pm and run other activities as required on a Monday, including shooting, drill practices and competitions.
Our Aims:-
1. To promote and encourage among young people a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force.
2. To provide training which will be useful in the Services and civilian life.
3. To foster the spirit of adventure and develop qualities of good leadership and good citizenship.
